My Promise to you - Cllr Lyall Reed

3 years ago I was elected to represent the area I've always called home - St Michael's Ward. 

We've made a lot of progress together as a community in those three years and I am standing for re-election so we can keep going together. To keep making progress in Ashbrooke, Tunstall, Grangetown and Hill View please lend me your vote in May. 

So read some of my promises and please consider sharing the message to help us keep making progress in St Michael's ward. 

  • Keep the Fairy Trail going in Backhouse Park 

  • Hold more family fun days in the park 

  • Install more litter bins to tackle litter and dog fouling

  • Organise more police-residents meeting 

  • Keep filling potholes and resurfaced more roads 

  • Never stop fighting to tackle bad school time parking 

  • Fix the Priestman Roundabout

  • Work all year round, not just at election

Petition: Keep Free After Three Parking in Sunderland

We call on Sunderland City Council to retain Free After 3 parking in our city centre's Council-owned car parks. At a time when our city centre is in sharp decline, with the loss of our cinema and Wilko store, we need to be encouraging people into the city, not making it less attractive to visit
