Labour sold land on the seafront for £1000. A 'comically small' amount.
The Leader of the Sunderland Conservatives, Cllr Antony Mullen, held this Labour Council to account for selling the land for what is now the Seaburn Inn for £1000 on a 999 year lease.
Is any land in Seaburn worth £1000, let alone prime land right at the seafront?
We don't think so and that's why we raised this in Council and called for an Independent Investigation into this land deal. Sunderland Labour BLOCKED this investigation which raises questions as to why?
