Requesting road safety markings
Following concerns from several residents, Councillor Greg Peacock has requested a complete refresh of all road markings throughout the Pennywell estate in St Anne’s Ward.

“While talking to local residents the issue of faded or obliterated road markings was raised several times as a major concern. I then spent some time walking and driving around Pennywell and discovered the give-way road markings at the majority of junctions are either faded or completely gone. This is not only a hazard to road users, but sadly reflects the almost total lack of maintenance around some of our estates. As Pennywell residents have endured the decrepit concrete road surface rather than smooth black tarmac, the very least residents should expect is clear road markings.”
